About Blu Lunar
We are a Black Female led wellness business.
That uses our professional experiences and education in public health and healthcare sciences to provide evidence based research wellness tools, workshops and resources, while using the Social enterprise model to focus on the social and mental determinants of/to health, by supporting others in making sustainable and lasting interpersonal and community level change.
We are impact focused, socially conscious, intersectional equitable lenses driven, while working interculturally across communities.
We do this by offering online courses and programs and virtual (limited in person) public speaking events, at times delivered as workshops, facilitations and conversational cafes.
Using a trauma informed, LGBT+ affirming, compassionate and meeting people where they are foundation/lens.
This is all fueled by our own healing journey, growth and personal journey to wellness.
Blu Lunar wellness uses digital resources, tools and applications, made using evidence based traditional and non traditional healing modalities (such as Reiki and sharing circles) to support the overall wellness of our community both local and internationally.
More Than A Name
Blu Lunar's Are a time to pay attention to our communication with ourselves & others.
They are also a time to build awareness on how we use our voice to create clear visions of ourselves and others.
Lunar the moon represents powerful feminine energy. It signifies wisdom, intuition, birth, death, reincarnation and spiritual connection.
Lunar phases show us how the moon affects the ebbs & flow of our entire existence. Once we are attuned to the moon & her cycles, we can activate her innate powers & embody her distinctively powerful attributes.
Vishuddi- Throat Chakra: The pure blue of the throat chakra is the link between the green emotions of the heart chakra, & the indigo reasoning of the third eye chakra.
Blu(e) is the cooler end of the spectrum, where things slow down, allowing you to take time to be still & listen to your inner voice.
To listen to the stillness within & to express what needs to be expressed your truth.
Blu is the colour of pure mind that is uncluttered by thought in stillness, you can find pure mind. Blu energy is guiding energy, enabling you to find a sense of faith & trust.
Blue moves your attention to the subtle vibrations that move through all of life.
As you unfold the petals of your throat chakra, you find the seat of creativity.
You communicate with ease & clarity. You begin to express your authentic self.

We support the autonomy of Indigenous peoples and respectfully acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 6 territory, amiskwacîwâskahikan ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ
A traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Metis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/ Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community.
We recognize that the histories of African-descended peoples and Indigenous peoples are parallel and entwined on this Continent. That colonialism, systemic racism and oppression have impacted both our people, and that Indigenous Women and Two-spirit peoples have been leading the fight for their liberation. We call for a spirit of solidarity to arise and new alliances to be forged.
